Project Travolta - Second Story Deck Extension
Before construction, this second story veranda was narrow, weathered and lacked appeal. The paved pool area below was uneven, poorly drained, and fully exposed to the elements — making it impractical for everyday use.
Our client's envisioned a functional, family-friendly space that could accommodate both active play and relaxed entertaining. We delivered just that — transforming the upstairs and downstairs zones into a cohesive outdoor living area perfect for kids, gatherings, and weekend BBQs.
To maximise the panoramic views of Mount Sheridan, we redesigned the lower level with durable concrete and a non-slip liquid tile finish. A custom step-down area was purpose-built for cleaning and filleting fish, adding a practical touch for outdoor living enthusiasts. The result is a versatile, stylish space that blends comfort, safety, and scenic beauty — tailored to suit the tropical lifestyle of Cairns.
Project Arden - WIR, Ensuite, Outdoor Powder Room Extension
Before construction, our client’s home had just one bathroom — creating daily challenges for a busy household. To improve functionality and enhance lifestyle, they envisioned a thoughtful extension: a private master suite with a walk-in robe and bathroom, plus a poolside powder room and outdoor shower for effortless alfresco entertaining.
We delivered a clean, modern, and highly functional master bathroom and robe, designed for comfort and convenience. Adjacent to the pool area, the outdoor powder room and shower offer a practical solution for family gatherings, weekend BBQs, and spontaneous swims — perfectly suited to Far North Queensland’s tropical climate.
The result is a stylish, versatile space that blends contemporary design with laid-back luxury, tailored to the relaxed lifestyle of Cairns.
Project Windarra - Outdoor Entertainment Area
This tired 1980s patio was ready for a fresh start. The project began with a full strip-out of the existing slate tiles and compromised concrete substrate, including removal of a load-bearing masonry column. In its place, we opted for new concrete coated in a durable non-slip liquid tile finish, with proper drainage and the addition of a structural steel bearer to support the new layout. Fresh garden beds brought life to the space, while a Norfoam insulated roof panel provided shade and thermal comfort — perfect for Far North Queensland’s climate.
The result is a transformed outdoor area: open, inviting, and ideal for entertaining. What was once a dated patio is now a modern alfresco haven built for relaxation and connection.
Project Progress - Second Storey Extension
This home originally featured a front entrance deck, but our clients envisioned more - an elevated retreat connecting the outdoors with living room. They wanted a space where they could unwind, soak in the morning sun, and take in the surrounding views.
